General Rules Late Arrival In School The school gate will be closed after the first bell rings at 7:40 a.m. Action will be taken. Three consecutive late arrivals would lead to the student being sent back home. Leaving School Premises
  • Attendance for the full day is mandatory.
  • No student will be permitted to leave school after a test/assessment.
  • If a student is unwell he/she should stay at home. Security Of Children
Parents must ensure that the same person collects the child after School, at the GATE OR FROM THE BUS STOP. Please introduce NEW SERVANTS/DRIVERS/AYAHS to the TEACHERS on DUTY. This is for the security of the children.Children who come to school escorted, should never leave before the escort reports to the teacher on duty. One Way Traffic Zone Please observe ONE WAY TRAFFIC ZONE specified by the School. Please also ensure that you or your drivers DO NOT stop vehicles in front of the School gate. This disrupts traffic and can prove hazardous for the children. Change Of Address & Telephone The school must be informed immediately if there are any changes in address and telephone numbers. School will not be responsible for non-receipt of communication. Uniform Students are expected to attend school daily in proper school uniform and be dressed neatly at all times, with hair properly trimmed. Appropriate action will be taken against those not adhering to the same.
  • Students are not allowed to wear make-up or jewellery to school. Mehandi on hands, nail varnish and streaking of hair is not permitted.
  • Students should be clean and always neatly dressed.
  • The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions.
  • Students who are slovenly dressed and not in uniform will be sent home.
  • Use of hair gel is not allowed. Wearing low waist trousers and skirts is forbidden.
  • All boys (except Sikhs) must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a maroon band.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
Scheme Of Examninations & Evaluations
  • For classes I to III there will be NO FINAL EXAMINATION. There will be continuous assessments on the basis of day to day work of each child.
  • Classes IV to VII students should score minimum 45% and those in classes VIII to XII minimum 50% to qualify for promotion.
  • Retest will not be given if a child is absent.
  • Passing all compulsory subjects is mandatory.
  • All school dues for the term must be paid before the commencement of the I term/Final Examinations.
  • CCE : The Pinnacle School is affiliated with CBSE upto Class XII. The school follows the scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for classes IX and X. Under the scheme a candidate has to undergo assessments in Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic Areas.Term wise (Term I & II) assessment of the candidates will be carried out in the school for candidates of class IX and X in the month of
September and March respectively during the academic year. The Board will supply Question Papers and Marking Scheme and evaluation is carried out by the school itself. However, the certificate will be issued by the CBSE based on the data provided. Those candidates who wish to move out of CBSE system after Class X, will have to opt for Board Conducted Examinations. Promotion Policy / Report Cards
  • For promotion to the next class, a student must secure 45% in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each of the academic subjects. It is also compulsory for the student to pass in the third language.
  • In view of the system of the year’s average in determining eligibility or promotion, it will not be possible to hold retests. Thus, results declared at the end of the year are final and will not be reconsidered.
  • The answer papers of the Final Examinations will not be shown either to students or parents.
  • Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of the pupil, hence the importance of regular attendance. The annual examinations are meant to confirm the result of the year’s work. NO DUPLICATE REPORT CARD WILL BE ISSUED.
