Rules & Disciplines
    1. LATE COMING:-Late comers should get their diary signed by the Class Teacher before entering their class. Those who are late 3 times in the month or 6 times in the academic year, will be issued a yellow card and / or sent home. They should have their late / leave record in the diary signed by their parents.
 
  • ABSENCE:- A. It is necessary for every student to complete 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the examination. In case attendance is short, student will not be eligible for promotion / any academic award.
B. Unexplained or continued absence for more than 10 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his / her name struck off the rolls; re-admission may be considered only on payment of fresh admission fee, provided the vacancy still exists. C. Every student is expected to attend school on the opening day after every vacation and must be present before closing for the vacation. Those absent due to sickness must present a medical certificate. D. Those absent for one day for any reason (including sickness) should have entered it in the leave record in the diary and have it sanctioned by the Class Teacher the following day. Those in Class X and XII should get it sanctioned by the Principal. E. Absence due to sickness: A student returning to school after an infectious or contagious disease should produce a fitness certificate from a  Doctor permitting him / her to attend the class. The following diseases need to follow the prescribed period of quarantine before a child is allowed to return to class: - Chicken Pox: 6 days after disappearance of the blisters - Measles: 7 days from rash - Mumps: Until swelling of the swollen gland has subsided, which may take up 9 days from the appearance of the symptoms. F. Skipping Class: Those who are absent from class without proper permission, will be given a yellow card.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, use of foul language, bullying, disobedience and disrespect towards the members of the School staff justify dismissal.
  • Pupils are strictly forbidden to carry electronic gadgets, cellular phones or any music systems to school.
  • SCHOOL PROPERTY:-Care must be taken of all school property, i.e. play grounds, furniture, classrooms etc. Any damage to the school property must be made good by the student concerned. Wilful damage of the school property will lead to dismissal.
  • MONEY:-Children are not allowed to carry money to school.
  • BIRTHDAYS:-Only sweets / chocolates may be distributed. No cakes, ice-creams, drinks etc. are allowed. Parents and students (individually or collectively) are forbidden to give teacher/gifts. Students are forbidden to give birthday gifts to one another.
 
  • PLASTIC BAGS:-Plastic Bags are injurious to environment. “SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS”. Please ensure that the children do not carry them to school.
  • Silence Zones are clearly marked where all students should always maintain silence, so that others are not disturbed. Disciplinary action will be taken against offenders.
  • Yellow cards are given for breaches of discipline or irregularity in attendance, and Pink Cards for serious offences. 2 Yellow Cards are equivalent to 1 Pink Card, and one who gets 2 Pink Cards will be dismissed from school. These cards are issued by the Principal, or on recommendation of the Coordinator / Class Teacher. Cards are cumulative and cannot be cancelled.
